Fred`s Seafood Restaurant 2004 Inc. in Cap-Pele

Food was cold, no hot water to wash your hands and poor service. Staff was friendly but not around often enough.

Got the Eggs Benedict with a fish cake, just don't bother. Fish cake was burnt. Bonus: didn't get stabbed so that was nice.

Clams and Fisherman's platter were fresh, with enormous servings. Fries are frozen. Desserts look delicious but we were too stuffed to try them!

Food was good. Serving was small though. Service was “ok” at best. Probably won’t return.

Had the bloomin onion...It was great. Fish and chips were good too, and service was great.

The fried clams and scallops were so amazing. They are lightly battered and the seafood is very fresh!! I highly recommend.

Service is great, food is typical deep-fried seafood. If you're into that kind of thing, this is the place for you.

Fred’s restaurant take out. Overpriced for fried clams and fries. Clams portion small and fries were soft. Very disappointed. I will not recommend.

Too Really good cannot complain on that one its a take out or in ..very nice menu ..good washroom nice view can have better service ...gambling machines and alcohol beverages ...we use to have a take out called sapino where i live this plave reminds me alot ...

One of the best fish n chip restaurants in the Maritimes. The homemade fish batter is light and I have never had a bad meal ever here. You owe it to yourself to stop at this gem in Cap Pele, NB.

Fred's has the best fish cakes! An old secret family recipe,very light and almost fluffy. The batter used on their fried foods is light and crispy with no grease. Great portions for two to share. A little pricy,but we'll worth it.

Excellent food.. from turkey dinners to Seafood platters. Prices are reasonable and you can't beat the quality.

The best restaurant on the way to PEI from Moncton. We ordered 6 different dishes and all were very good.

Ate the hamburger too quickly to take a picture of it. It was delicious!! It’s definitely a seafood centric place, but there are other options as well. One of the best parts of my meal was their house-battered onions rings (pictured). Crispy and delicious. Lots and lots of seating, which is a necessity being in a high-traffic tourist area. Definitely recommend!

Great restaurant, huge portions. My wife had fish and chips and I had a clubhouse platter. Service was very good and the food was great. They have a wonderful clam patter that would feed the family. With the change in the highway to PEI it is a little off the beaten path but well worth the drive. lots of parking including room for buses and trailers. Lots of seating as well. Will be stopping in for another "snack" next time I travel to PEI.

What a great surprise. Reminded me of Fred's when I was a child. The seafood is lightly battered and fresh. Prices are reasonable and lots of food. Worth the drive from Moncton for the treat.

Good family restaurant and great service. Whether you want breakfast, lunch or dinner, Fred's has got it all. It's been there for as long as I can remember. It's also the go to place for get together or big event gatherings. The food is great, especially the fried clams. :)

Decent food, but nothing to warrant a return soon.Had Lobster Salad plate that was edible but disappointing. Decent portion of cold lobster meat, 2 scoops of tastless potato salad, 2 slices tomato, 2 slices cucumber and a side dish of untasted cole slaw. $28.Not a recomended entree. Not on my list of recommended restaurants.

Our party of 7 waited to be seated. Were directed to sit by nod of her head. While waiting for our menus, waitress sorted silverware served another guest drinks, wiped the counter. Other customers came in. Menus were given to them right away. We then got up and left. Extremely ignorant. Im assuming food and service would have been as poor as the hospitality

Food was great, waitress was great but took awhile for the food to come out. Another table came in 10 minutes after us and was served after us. But the food made up for it.

Of all clam dig restaurants throughout shediac, a Boiteau, cap Pele, Moncton, Fred's in Cap Pele far out ranks any of them. Priced right and huge quantities. Uber clean and great service with little wait time.

Fresh and clean enviroment

Perfect as seafood dinner. Visited with my wife and a 2 year old son. As soon we sit down, wee were brought crayons and a kids menu:) service was fast and seafood platter was excellent

Lobster roll was delicious. The deep fried cod was very good. The fries were standard fare. Service was good as was atmosphere.

Are Exactly what you want from a family own place on the east coast. Don't be afraid of the prices the portions are Texas, very large. A poutine was enough for me and my wife
